Re: Quick cell phone minutes question
I just forced him off the phone -- I told him to have his mom call the home line. He gets to call tmobile to try to get the bill back down again. I'm not doing this. Mil uses up all our weekday minutes with marathon conversations with dh.married to an anesthesia attending

Re: Quick cell phone minutes question
We used to have Cingular, but my parents have always had Tmobile. We could definitely use some rollover minutes though - some months our usage is heavier than others. It makes more sense to have the same carrier as my parents, so that *I* help out and not use up too many minutes when I talk to them. Of course, i've got a husband here who sabotages my efforts to save...married to an anesthesia attending

Re: Quick cell phone minutes question
I don't think an international number counts as a fav. We were just short on minutes this past month. We start a new cycle tomorrow, so it wouldn't have been a big deal had today been counted as a weekend.married to an anesthesia attending

Re: Quick cell phone minutes question
Alison,
If you check your minutes and find that you've gone over, you know you can retroactively up the minutes of your plan with Tmobile. Depending on how much you go over it can be much less expensive than paying for the extra minutes. But find out and do it tonight if you have to because I think it has to be before the billing cycle ends.

Re: Quick cell phone minutes question
Thanks, Janet.
This is the only month we've gone over our minutes, so it doesn't make sense to upgrade and pay over $59.99 (which is actually more like $75, no?) /month. I have a family plan that we got years ago. It's 500 minutes for $49.99. Weekends and nights too. I don't think they have family plans for that low anymore. At least not with Tmobile.
Dh wants an iphone, and I told him he has to wait until our Tmobile contract is up (in June) *and* for the second generation one.
