This is just so FRUSTRATING! Last week as we were driving to Ohio we watched the gas price drop as we neared St. Louis, stay low in the city, and then leap (literally - $.30!) as we crossed the line into IL. Gas stayed at $3.09 or higher all the way through Ohio, and all week while we were there. Today we HAD to stop for gas just outside of St. Louis (IL side) and considered ourselves lucky to find $2.99. Now that we're on the other side of St. Louis DH keeps seeing the prices and yelling them out. "$2.89! Dammit!" .... "$2.81! You've got to be kidding me!"

Re: Gas! GAAAAHHHH!
Yeah, that's like driving across the state of Maryland... You go through several different "prices" and then, viola, you hit Jersey and it's like... so much cheaper. Why? I would think Jersey would be way higher than Maryland-- not that people here have ever met a tax hike they don't like.
