  • iPod in your car question

Can anyone recommend an EASY to use device so that I can use my ipod through my car stereo? I am getting confused looking on cnet.

    Thanks!

The tape player adapter is the cheapest and easiest solution. If you have no tape player, then you need the FM transmitter thingie. If you are in an area with lots of radio stations, these can be iffy. They don't work well in all areas.

I have a hardwired system that cost around 100 dollars. DH put it in - and it was easy. It has a dock and works through the existing stero system. It has been great. If you are interested in going that route, I'll find out the website from him.

I have this for my car and it works great: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=257270

DH has the tape player adapter and loves it too, I don't have a tape player in my car so its not an option for me. It is probably the best choice though if you have a hard time finding a radio station to run the other option through.

Do you have an auxiliary in plug on your radio? If so you can just get an auxiliary cable and put one end where the headphones go on the iPod and the other in the radio. That's what we do. It was less than $10.

Otherwise I think the tape one is the next best option.
