Apparently I'm 12 again...

No kidding. I am feeling your pain.

Knock on wood, no pink eye here. I have had it as an adult and it was worse than any bout I ever had as a kid. Same for DH -- I'm not kidding, he had to get an MRI a few years ago because the swelling was so bad and the ophthomologist thought it could be something else.

hehehe. DH was sent home from his OB rotation last month because he had pink eye. It was caught early and he enjoyed an extra 2 days of "vacation" that he didn't have to make up.

AHHH!!! I am crossing my hands in a crucifix and dousing myself in holy water. I hate pinkeye. It is irritating, teeming with sickdays for the kids when they really aren't down and out, and just a general bane on looking like a normal human being. When I get pink eye, I resemble an albino. Blech.
