PMs stuck in my outbox

I have a few PMs in my outbox -- both are over a day old and they won't "send."

Anybody know why?
I'm sure it's something dumb I'm doing so I'm sorry in advance for the silly question.

You really don't want me to answer a technical question....but, that said... my understanding is that the "outbox" is the limbo that your message "sits in" while in transit. That is, you clicked send but until the intended recipient looks at it, it remains in the "outbox". Once the intended recipient opens it, it should then appear your sent box.

Clear as mud?

So, it just means your recipients haven't opened those particular PMs from you yet.

My understanding is that they stay in the "outbox" until the person reads them, then they go to "sent".

Yes, that is how it works!!!! Just call me technical Lu (said very tongue in cheek, I'm learning as I go).
