I haven't looked at the weather, but they are predicting that at kick-off for tonight's game in Lambeau, it will be 1 degree with a w/c of -15. And all of the guys are talking about not wearing sleeves, 'cuz they don't do that in Green Bay. Fools, wear the damn sleeves and prevent frostbite.

Holy cow, Kris! It's about 25 here today and DH and I thought that was freezing! I can't even imagine what -17 must feel like.

I find that once you get below a certain point, it's just a matter of how long you can be outside before you're really uncomfortable. I can't really tell the difference.

Quote from dh: "it's freazing, freaking cold"

              understatement.

I haven't worn a coat all winter, but this ... I'll have to dig out the coat for.

It's 10 degrees here, which we thought was cold ... but -17?

At any rate, since I'm either crazy or a very devoted dog-owner ... I'm off to walk the dog in a few minutes...

OMG. That is so cold. I think I would become a winter hermit.

                      Stay warm, Kris! Brrr!

28 here today. I think -17 would be reason enough for me to jump out of a window. I just don't do cold. Ugh. I think you're all nuts.

It is nuts. It's a form of masochism.
Whenever dh and I visit my family in Seattle during the wintertime, we take our down coats. My friends always make fun of our "Himalaya gear."

I'm ready to move to a more mild climate - we're not buying anymore down. And I've told dh that I'm going to sew his gloves to the arms on his coat, so that we don't waste anymore money on winter paraphernalia. I'm not a fan of bundling up, unless a ski lift is my mode of transportation!
