  • Kris/Alison, French spouses

We are about to have a family crisis. My mother is running out of Talcids- the antacid she prefers that are only available in Germany and France.

They're made by Bayer. Any suggestions as to where we can find them?

She doles them out like they're made of solid gold. Like it had better be REALLY painful indigestion, otherwise you're on Tums or Rolaids.

If she wants them badly enough and is willing to pay through the nose, it looks like she could get them here (though I didn't register to start going through the checkout process, but since they offer US dollar as an option...):

choose english (if it's not already), and "us dollar".

(says the person who mail-ordered "throaties" from an Australian website at great expense and portions them out very carefully)

I'll ask dh about Talcid. Maybe there's an American version, although I know that your mom probably wants the real deal.

I haven't forgotten about your question, Jenn.
It's just that I haven't really sat down with dh in over a week. He's post call today, so maybe I can get some info out of him when he gets home.

          That's fine.

She's at the beach with some of her sorority sisters anyway. I would be the greatest kid ever if I got some for Mother's day though.
