I love the library!

Until recently we have completely been under-using our local library. We've recently started going to story time every Tuesday and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the Cinci libraries! aper: Our local library even has a drive up window. Some weeks I just reserve all of the titles that we want online and then drive to the window to pick them up! Rock on! We recently got hooked on The Office and we are working our way through the Season 1 and Season 2 dvds.

The storytime and play areas/activities at our library are great, but their book selection is just so-so. Oh, but how I wish ours had a drive-thru!

Wow, a drive-thru? That's awesome. I love being able to request books online, but if you eliminate having to even get out of the car, I'd probably use the library even more.

I would kill to have a drive thru! I hate when a hold comes in and I have to drag the kids with me to go pick it up because they'll want to stay browsing for hours.

I would have to say that I also am under-using the libraries here in Chicago! However, I do spend more than a healthy amount of time at Borders/B&N...

I think once we have kids it will be different...I know that spending so much time at the library when I was little was one of the things that made me love/appreciate books so much!

Oh, I'm so having library-envy over the drive-thru.

I really love our local libraries, though. They even have a therapy dogs program where they bring in 3 or 4 dogs for emerging readers to read out-loud to. (Kids like it because dogs don't correct them when they have a miscue.) And for kids like my son who go totally apeshit over dogs, it's an awesome encouragement to read.
