Go HOME. Why are you STILL HERE?????

We're under another cold weather advisory until noon tomorrow and we may have another school delay. Gaaaah...Where is spring? Gardens, trees, sunshine, beaches.......waaaah.

I would settle for dry and in the upper 30s. :thud:

DH is excited because we're supposed to get up to 36 degrees this weekend. :thud:

I talked to my dad (in Alabama) last week at 8:30pm and he was wearing shorts and working in his greenhouse. How did I end up here? :brrr:

I am so tired of this. If I didn't have to spend so much time waiting for public transportation and walking around outside, I'd feel better about this.

I'm fed up with the Midwest (I'm sorry, guys).

Me too. Although I'm sure it's colder in Chicago than it is here.
It's colder up in Minnesota, for sure. We're in single digits down here. It can get dangerous - on some days, I do start to feel numbness in my exposed parts.

Boy oh boy do I hear you! This winter has been worse than my two previous KC winters combined. It's been consistently frigid (teens w/big winds), and we've had more snow .... lots of snow. I am OVER it.

-38 this morning with the wind chill. No school delays. ugh.

I really like winter, but this is too much.

I've decided to invest in a plant light and start my garden NOW. Screw winter. I'm taking charge here!!!!!

Same here. I keep reminding my 5yo to wear his scarf on the 3 block walk between daycare and elementary school.

Combine it with the icy sidewalks from the rain we got on Sunday and it is bad deal.

I ran into neighbors yesterday and she mentioned that everyone at her house is beyond cabin fever already into the grouchy, "why the hell do we live HERE?" stage. double ugh.

It's hard to get through it at times like this. I know the end of winter is just around the corner (or at least that there is hope that things will get milder again very soon.)

I suppose the good news is that we are all going to appreciate spring and summer sooo much!

                    Move to San Antonio.

Seriously - the highs for the next few days are in the upper 70's and lower 80's.

It's going to be 18 degrees F tomorrow night. Yay.

Yeah- but it's going to be rainy and 70.

                      Such difficulties.

                        Hey,

If I moved to SA right now I could vote in the TX primaries too. :>

We have snow flurries going on...

Really, the winter here hasn't been too bad, but we haven't had any decent snow to play in. Still, I prefer a milder climate! And I don't mind rain. But I think I'd hate February anywhere I lived...

It'll just be that much more elbow room for the rest of us. :nana:

February suuuucks. Did I mention that already? Sucks.
