  • Blackberry tech question

    I got one from work.

I'd like to know how to remove the "Send Via Blackberry" at the bottom of the emails that the Blackberry sends out. I don't want people to think that I can check and respond to emails at all hours of the day, just because I have this machine.

Does anyone know how to remove that signature?

    Thanks!

I'm w/Lily. I'm pretty sure Blackberry makes sure it's there.

Thanks - when I have the chance, I'm going to see if there's some kind of way to change the email display options.

(I love this little machine, by the way!)

Mine does not do that. BUT I have a corporate account. Does that make a difference? I know there was a huuuuge difference in price ( as in the plan price - not the equipment price). My work IT people are who set it up for me...perhaps they can help?
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

I will ask IT. That's a good idea.

Nope, it's not there for good, you can remove it.

            Go to: http://www.att.com/blackberrystart

You should be able to log into your account, and there you can add/delete your email accounts. You can also edit the signature line, and take off that annoying tag line.

Still messing around with this, trying to figure it out - thanks for the lead though, Jamie.

Thanks!!! Got it. The thing is, you have to create a Blackberry account online, and then on your phone you have to enter the email addresses that you are using. Then, you go back to your account and change the settings via add/delete that you mention.

                Thanks again!

No problem! IMO, it's a pain to set up, but once you do it once, you won't have to worry about it again. Took me awhile to get it figured out myself.

Glad you got yours all fixed!
