Genetically modified food has been around for a while and yet nobody has yet came up with brocolli or asparagus that would taste like french fries or a banana muffin. Why? That person could be a gazillioner in minutes. Imagine getting the iron and nutriens and the calorie intake of a brocolli while getting the satisfaction of french fries. That's priceless.

So why hasn't this been done yet? Can it really be more complicated than cloning a sheep?

Sorry, have to laugh as broccoli is the original "genetically modified" food, a cross between a cauliflower and brussel sprout...

Have you ever heard of those Jones sodas? They've got one that tastes like turkey. I know the drinks aren't genetically altered, but this post reminded me of this!

This would be one way to get your kids to eat veggies! They taste like fries. REALLY!

I know that a lot of time goes into recreating flavors for gums, gummis, Jones soda, etc, but how can you get an artifical flavor to stay in a naturally growing thing...

There's the rub!
