    Re: Mothers Day Gifts

I have no idea. The practical side wants to send my MIL a grocery store gift certificate but my husband freaked at the idea. (um, hello? she has NO money and your stupid siblings suck her dry for what she does have!). MIL needs no more knick knacks, no furniture, no clothing, no jewelry. Maybe an Olive Garden gift card. (fine dining in Palmdale, CA)

My mom said she wants yellow flowers for her porch so I'm going to send her some mini yellow roses or something like that.

    I want a pedicure.

I'm sending my step-mom a monogrammed garden bag - the kind that's sort of like a small tote bag with lots of compartments - since she just had a greenhouse built in her back yard. For MIL, not sure yet.

my mom will get a card....maybe something small to go along with it..but it will be late.

anyone here have to remind their dh's/ SO's that mother's day is coming up? just curious. my dh will be post call...and i vow not to tell him that it is mothers day, just to see if he remembers.

he has asked me if this is pay week a few times tho...so maybe he is thinking about it.
