I'm okay - save the water in my basement (has nothing to do with the refinery fire). I was over by Davita's house too, and the skies are bright. I'll have to look to see where it actually is.
ahhh ... downtown KC, KS. even though we live in KS, we're actually more "attached" to KC, MO. The skies are blue and bright here -- doesn't look like anything happened.
Oh water in your basement? What's that like? Let's call it FUN, especially when you are 39 weeks pregnant and your husband is an ortho resident on-call in the summer and they are slammed with only about 5 residents on service because people are on vacation, at other hospitals, or at conferences. I spoke to him at about 8pm last night and it's almost 1pm the next day, and I still haven't heard from him. The water will have to dry up on it's own or wait until he can drag the shop vac down there, because there is no way I'm dragging it down those concrete stairs. There really isn't much water, but still, it's bugging me and I want it cleaned up!!
Back to the original post..... Yes, blue skies with heat and humidity as Jenn previously stated.
