anniversary

Hey sally,
I was looking at your pictures and noticed that you have the same anniversay date as my husband and I. We got married on August 11, 2001. Pretty cool! By the way your pictures are really good. Hawaii looks beautiful, maybe we will get to go in about ten years.

That is cool, Lauren! We found out on our fourth anniversary that we were expecting our first child, so it is significant to us for another reason, too. Hawaii was awesome -- we are hoping to someday go back with our kids -- but I am afraid they won't be "kids" anymore by the time we can afford it! I hope you can go sometime -- we went for a military medical meeting, so maybe you can do that someday as well -- and get Uncle Sam to pay for most of the trip! We went to an annual meeting for military OB/GYNs and since the location of the meetings are published several years ahead, I resolved about 4 years ago that I would not be pregnant or nursing during October of 2002 so we could go! I am so glad it worked out.
