Who has them? They are baaaad here. In fact, there is a local website dedicated to these nasty buggers. http://www.cicadamania.com/cicadas/

(Someone needs to get a better hobby. Apparently there is someone willing to pay $15 per white eyed cicada).

I love cicadas! I grew up listening to them on summer nights - almost as good as fireflies. Their shells were kind of cool to find on the barks of trees.

That cicada wreath is particularly disgusting, though. My love for them falls far short of that.

Ummm...what does one do with white eyed cicadas exactly? :huh:

I've never seen one, but I am going to assume that they do not make cuddly pets.

I like the sound of them too but I'm not sure I would download it to an ipod.

You could keep your kids busy for a while with the promise of $15 for a white eyed one.
