  • Sad news for political news junkies...

Political commentator and former White House Press Secretary for President Bush Tony Snow passed away this morning from colon cancer. He was 53 and left behind a wife and three children.

He was such a good guy and so devoted to his family. Even the press who hated Bush like him. It's not a surprise (he had to retire from the Press Secretary position after his cancer came back) and he looked increasingly bad, but still... I was hoping for the best. Breaks my heart.

I saw that too, so sad - he really was a great journalist and able to put his politics aside when he was in journalist mode.

He was one of those people that could make you like him, no matter who he worked for.

I feel so bad for his wife and kids.

I feel very sad for his wife and family. Losing someone that early is just wrong.

It's been a hard year for journalists... Russert now Tony Snow... I liked both of them.

It's very sad. They were both so very nice and talented.

                    I was sad too.
I listened to his radio show when he was on, and really impressed at how he would have all view points when presenting an issue. He also did lighter fare such as his dislike for IKEA.
