    Re: I must be blind...

Julia, I'm working on it. I'm a little new at the whole message board thing, so I am slowly getting the hang of it. I am sure the peds residency topic will be floating around for awhile.

He's the compulsive planner, I have spurts of planning. And this is a spurt of planning because it will most likely require a move from where we have been since we started undergrad 7 years ago. Oh, and my potential transfer from one master's program to another. So I am all over this one, and I am hoping that he will be too...once he takes Step 2 CS next Saturday. :banghead:

      Re: I must be blind...

DH knows that his thoughts and interests may change once he goes through other rotations. He has been doing ortho research and working in the ortho clinic, has seen some surgeries, and still really likes it. We also both know that the lifestyle is not the greatest. So, basically, we are not hellbent on ortho - it's just the front-runner right now. He is actually doing his ortho surg rotation in two weeks so we will see if that changes!

To answer a couple other questions from above - we don't really care about location at all as long as it meets our two criteria: good program and less "city" (cities like Indy, Pitt, Louisville, etc). We do not really know about much outside of the midwest Thanks again for all the help!
