I have gone to a couple of conferences with DH- Last year we combined a trip to Disneyland with his SAMBA conference in San Diego, CA; and we did planned a trip to Seattle at the same time as a conference so we could do a visit and get out some CMEs.
DH has gone to one conference without me in Park City, UT. It was good for him- he got some studying done for the boards via the conference and some skiing and snowboarding.
We are planning to go to a conference in January. There is a gas conference in Maui- we trying to figure out- find a sitter for the kids or bring the nanny. Part of me wants to bring them with us, and the nanny, so I could do fun exursions with them, and yet still have the freedom to go out with dh when he is out of his lectures.
