    No texting in the car!

    Wow - texting while driving just scares me. Accidents like that are the only way people are going to wake up about it.

    She is lucky that she didn't kill someone, especially in that type of vehicle.

    It does not need to be illegal for texting (and talking IMO) on cell phones while driving to be STUPID!

      In CA, you can't talk on cell phones while driving anymore. This was a recent change and my mom says she sees police with binoculars trying to catch people all the time now.

        There is a similar law in Chicago, however, there was some legal issues because the city never really "advertised" it, and, supposedly, police were singling out visitors (looking for non-IL plates) more than they were busting Joe Businessman making one last deal!
