i notice sometimes that when people post, they put up a 're-direct'. i usually see it as

    here

when i do a post and put in a link, its as http://www._______.com (whatever the link is)

how do i make it so i can just have a here or look at this or shopping link..where the highlighted word is clickable?

(does any of this make sense? )

    thanks

      Re: computer question

It's all about how you enter the code.

If you click on URL in the menu you get link

To have a word show up highlighted rather then the link you need to make it look like this:
      highlighted word

      Does that make sense?

      So the two options are:

      http://www.medicalspouse.com/community/
      or
      Our new home
Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

        no. it doesnt make sense

i just tried putting in an address then adding the url and the whole link still shows.
i highlighted it then clicked the url option on the posting section.
can you give a step by step tutorial?

          Re: computer question

I think you have to put the "here" word between the brackets......and put the address inside the first bracket....

So find your link example: http://www.google.com

Figure out what you want the link to say example: bananas
Come to this site and in your post type [url=http://www.google.com]bananas[/*url] but leave out the *

          So my example:

          bananas

So you do kinda like an image with the IMG before and the /IMG after......start the brackets with the url=lwhere you want the link to go.....then between the bracketed words you put what you want to show up on the site.....then you have to close the command with the /url in brackets.

Does that make it any clearer?
