    VP txt msg?

    Fess up! Anyone sign up?

    Obama is going to announce his running mate via text message.....I don't really care about politics that much, but I think it's kinda neat/"a sign of the times" that he is going to text it.

    ...campaign wrote: "Barack will announce his VP candidate choice through txt message between now & the Conv. Tell everyone to text VP to 62262 to be the first to know! Please forward."
    FYI I don't know how to text message! I mean, I think I could figure it out if given some time, but I've never done it.

    Strange, Cassy! I am an Obama supporter and I never get called. Iv'e even given them money twice and still - no calls. I get emailed all the time (twice a week?) but I signed up for that at the website. I don't think it's a common feature in the campaign...not even in Ohio. Thanks for the text message link!

      Me too. AND I've been on their txt message list since super Tuesday. I've never gotten one call.

        We keep getting stuff from McCain. DH swears he didn't contribute/inquire/contact the Republican party, but I think he's lying. We've gotten a couple of pieces of snail mail and several emails (no phone calls yet, though). It is starting to make me nuts.
