    The double decker bus tour is great!! I would highly recommend it. Gray Line has a 48 hour loop tour that is great. Not only is it a fun thing to do, but it covers the cost of your travel around the city for two day.

    If you are flexible as to what show you want to see, I would also recommend TKTS for Broadway show tickets.

    Where is Tina Turner playing? If that is really what she wants and it is close to home, 3 tickets to her concert could be alot less than hotels, airfare, and theater tickets in NY.

      I vote (as if I have one) for the concert, drive, and one hotel night with your mom & sister. Let your DH worry about the kids & activities. The drive alone could be fun. Good luck.
