Love the mini chocolate bars (snickers etc.) and also peanut butter cups. Not a fan of candy corn but sadly will eat it if it is the only thing left in the bowl

I don't like candy corn, either. Tastes like wax. The ultimate Halloween candy is Reese's cups. That's what we take out of the kids Halloween haul as the parent tax.

I like caramel apples, and chocolate covered apples. I love many of the snack size candy bars too, but that's all the time candy, really.

Am I the only person here who HATES candy corn?

Nope I think the stuff is disgusting- waxy sugar. Blech!

I like the mini sizes of candy bars.

Love candy corn. Carmel apples are my next halloween fave. Then comes the hot apple cider. Sooo tasty. :mmm:

This thread inspired (is that the right word?) me to go out and get candy corn. I put a small portion of the bag into the tiniest jar I could find in an attempt to prevent myself from eating the whole bag in 3 days. So far so good.

I guess it isn't necessarily Halloween candy, but my favorite kind are Chocolate covered gummy bears! They are kind of hard to find, and sound kinda gross....but I promise they are the best. Fruit and chocolate together, yum!

Candy corn is just okay. It's a good sweet treat, but I couldn't sit and eat a whole bagful.

Now, mini Kit Kat bars and Reese's PB Cups, I could definitely eat a whole bagful of them. I won't buy them for my trick-or-treaters or else there won't be any left.

Another good seasonal treat is pumpkin ice cream. It's like pumpkin pie with whipped cream already mixed in. Yum!!

I love candy corn too and the special pumpkin shaped reese's pb cups. But my favorite are the peanut butter flavored taffies that some in the black or orange wax paper. They are terrible but yummy!

Ugh - we only had four trick-or-treaters last night! There are several familes with kids in our neighborhood, so we bought two bags of candy, and we have a ton left over. At least we picked stuff we liked... So far, I've only eaten a Jolly Rancher sucker, but we bought the candy early, so I've been snacking on it for a couple of weeks.

I had a cherry Tootsie Pop today. and it was good.

Luckily the people we went with have the same "bedtime is the 11th commandment" attitude to child rearing so the kiddos were home in jammies and in bed by 8:15. Limited hours meant limited candy. We basically went down half of our old street and half of another street where some more friends from Crunchy School live and that was it.

He did look awesome in his hotdog costume though.

I got nada...though I never got to go trick or treating as a kid (living in a major city) so I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed. I swear DH thinks I want kids just so I can dress them up and get free candy Maybe that's a little true
