My husband is up at Ft. Hood (dipping his toe into the shallow end of the gene pool as he likes to say) and I get my entire bed to myself. And I won't have some half deaf guy careening through my house at 5am making more noise that should be possible.
Not that I want him deployed again but MAN, I do like my own space every now and again.
I think the Victorians at least had the separate bedroom thing right. I'd so love to have my own bedroom and then grant visiting privileges.
