  • First semester done!

Today was my bf's last final for his first semester of med school! I'm so proud of him and psyched that he gets two whole weeks off before going back to the books. We survived the first semester! yay!

      Woohoo!!

I was just thinking earlier this week how it seemed like 4 years was an eternity to be in med school . . . and then it seems like you barely have time to blink and suddenly it's down to 3.5 years. Funny how life flies by like that.

Doesn't it feel good?? My bf is on trimesters so he's in the middle of his second semester already. When that first semester was over though we just breathed a sigh of relief!!

Thanks everyone! I know there are others (Julie) too so congrats to us all.

We "celebrated" last night by having dinner (I cooked) and playing with his new toy (Playstation 2) which was his Christmas/bday present.

This weekend will be more fun b/c tomorrow night is my bday celebration w/ all of my friends. They're all taking me out and I don't know where yet.

I'm off to Ohio from the 24th - 30th and Frank will be there from the 27th -the 30th. I'm psyched! Dures: when are you seeing Jay?

                  Kris-

Congrats on a semester break well-deserved

                  Sharon-

Sounds like you & Frank celebrated post-Finals in style - home cooked meal, playing PS2. What more can a guy ask for
About Jay coming out here, he's coming to L.A on 12/27 and leaving 1/2 for yet another interview. But at least we get to spend New Year's together, which is sacred to us. But we haven't decided where to go yet. We were thinking either San Diego or Santa Barbara. Knowing him, it'll be another VERY last minute decision .
You'll have to let us know how Frank's trip to visit you & your family in Cleveland goes. Has he ever been?

                  Take care,

                  Dures
