  • Comlex Step III

DrK is taking the Comlex Step III in April and we are already getting anxious around here. Any tips? I've heard that there is a new video component that they just added a couple weeks ago. Has anyone's SO commented on that?

    Re: Comlex Step III

From what I remember Step III was the easiest one. DH stressed the least about it and also studied much less than for the other two. Don't know anything about the video component though.

Is the comlex the DO equivalent of the MD's USMLE?

        Re: Comlex Step III

I was wondering what 'Comlex' meant...

If it's the same as the USMLE Step 3 that DH took, it was practically a non-event compared to Step 1 and 2.

          Re: Comlex Step III

Comlex is the DO equivalent to USMLE Step. Our DO friends did Allo residencies and only took the Steps. And Step III is the one that "you should up with a pencil" for. Most don't study for it.
