My MIL is a PICU nurse at CHLA and they are competing with 10 other children's hospitals in the country to get a Starlight Fun Center. They're fighting for 3rd with another hospital. She asked me to ask my "on line" friends if they could vote for CHLA. If you have time please click on the link and vote. You can vote once a day until the 27th. No registration required. Re: Help my MIL
I saw a Dallas hospital on the list and got excited. And then I saw it was Medical City Children's and not Children's Medical Center Dallas. Umm...Medical City Children's is a few floors in a grown up hospital. And it's for-profit. Ped cancer patients can end up on the same floor as grown up cancer patients. And they got in trouble for trying to name themselves some name that got them confused with Children's. So they had to change their name. Anyway, bitter: party of 1.
So I voted for CHLA.Veronica
