    Answer about blogs

    I set the blogs so that registered users can create and use their own blogs, but can not see other people's blogs. Only members of the 50+ club can see the blogs. This way, you don't have to set your blog to private and approve members. Only people with 50+ posts can read them.

          Again: by default, threads with no new posts in over a month don't show up on the thread list. At the bottom of the thread list page is a dropdown that you can change to "beginning", to show *all* threads, regardless of how old they are.

            Kris, are all my posts on the old site gone forever? I can restart a blog here, but I thought I'd see if there was any chance my old blog could be recovered.

              It looks like some of the older posts got lost in the transfer. I still have the other forum up, but it looks like the posts are gone from there too. I will check back in one of the older versions of the database! Something might have gone haywire when we upgraded our phpBB after getting hacked. I'll figure it our for you...just give me a day or two.
