God bless them and all of the other soldiers, airmen, and sailors, and their families that are out there making sacrifices. I wish we would see more stories like these.

Every time I go on base since September 11 and see some baby-faced MP salute me as I drive through the gates, I get a HUGE lump in my throat. Anyone in the military is a hero to me -- they are flawed, like all of us, but when it is time to go, they go wherever they're needed to protect my way of life. I am so humbled by all of them and the sacrifices they are prepared to make for their country.
    Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Jen.

The news reports lately of all of the dads and MOMS who are being deployed has tugged at my heartstrings.....to all of you military medical spouses out there.....my hats go off to you.

I am in such admiration for the sacrifices that the military personnel (and their families) make for the rest of us. It is so easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget that there is a war going on over there. Thanks for sharing that story!!
