Well, I suppose this thread should be our April check-in. . .

We're great here. I was finally admitted to the OH Bar last week and so far, I'm still employed. DrK is doing great in his psychiatry rotation. He starts a surgical rotation this month and he's taking Step 3 in a couple weeks. I'm trying to figure out when to go back to FL one last time to empty the condo and get it leased. I'm also super-anxious about establishing my OH law practice now that I'm licensed.

DH is finishing up one away application and got accepted to spend a month rotating at Pitt! I'm excited about some new job opportunities where I currently work, and am just trying to stay sane for the next 38 school days! That's about it!

Currently, my head is about to explode from Oak Pollen. It looks like we have renters for the DC house, my husband is on-call for another week, my fabulous small dude cracks me up every day, my male dog would really prefer to be attached to my body at all times, and my job is hurry-up and wait.

So, all in all, things are stable.

I am having my first experience of being a mommy with a sick child and it is really hard! He only has a cold but it is dragging on and he is so unhappy. I miss my smiling baby
Apart from that....DH has 2 weeks of vacation starting Monday so I am really excited about that. We are going to visit some family and go on a road trip in N. Cali.

I'm in hormone hell (recently got off BC). We have finally entered the shopping stage for the house and trying not to spend ahead of ourselves. Overall, I'm loving attendinghood even though we still can't afford champagne or caviar.

              I'm in Boston.
              He's in Ohio.

              I'm bored with my job.
              And I feel whiny today.

I'm pretty new (hello!) - I'm crabby (too much working on the same thing all day at work) and I am super nervous about this whole match thing... and its a year away... what is wrong with me?!?

Mrs. K - is Ohio the second bar you took? Is Dr. K a resident? I am so not looking forward to taking another bar if DH matches in another state (which is a definite possibility) - although I would rather take a new bar then to.... (ooh I can't say outloud... but you know.... heaven forbid). It is just gonna stink to find out in March, then not have a job because I won't have a license and then I won't be able to take the bar till July, results don't post until OCTOBER - that could mean months without a job/practicing - eeek!

Okay enough complaining, on another note I have been able to spend lots of time with DH because his clerkships have not been time consuming!

Doing great here! Just got back home from a 7-night cruise, so life is good. That is, until the alarm goes off in 5.5 hours and reality sets back in. I really should go to sleep...
