  • OH Man...That DUMB DOG!

ARRRRGGGH...It is starting all over again The weather here is fairly mild and the kids have been running outside to play again....and this morning Alex let Molly out...and she is prowling around the neighborhood. I'm so upset that I can barely see straight MAN...what are we going to do about this? If he ends up letting the cat out, Lou will never find his way back here. He just opens up the door as wide as it gets and runs outside the minute I turn my back....Outside of drilling/installing locks on every door in the house, what can I DO about this????

    Kris

PS...the dog is STILL on the prowl...I am so upset about this!

I wish I had some suggestions for you--I'm so sorry to hear that your dog has run off! Hopefully he will come back on his own. It seems like some dogs just have that desire to explore. Our neighbor's dog can escape from any kind of confinement, while our dog has no desire to leave the yard. Personally I think it is an inelligence thing (and I don't mean in favor of our dog--it just doesn't occur to him that there is anything exciting out there!) Surely, once he gets hungry or thirsty he will return home!
    Awake is the new sleep!

So, did the long lost dog make it back home?! I certainly hope so!

        dog

Thanks for asking...She came back about an hour later...she always comes back, but I worry about her barking at other people or chasing the mailman (I'm serious here!) We are really trying to make her less of a nusiance to the neighbors and I'm soooo hypersensitive about her getting out.....I was so upset......She made it back though safe and sound...and fortunately it was early in the day so our neighbors were at work.....

        NO harm done.

        Thanks for asking
