OK- now that we've found Robin- how about everyone posting a quick update/reintroduction? We're getting so big that I keep losing who everyone is!!!

That said- in a nutshell: Jenn, husband is a 3rd year peds resident (Army), heading to DC (my hometown) for a peds neuro fellowship. House went on the market yesterday and I'm sending resumes and contacting former employers left and right! Ok- who's next?

Hi! I'm Robin and I am married to Russ, doing his internship year here in San Antonio. We will be here for another three years while he finishes his anesthesia residency. We have 4 boys (11, 8, 6 and 3). I work at home doing medical transcription and being a SAHM. It keeps me busy and out of trouble most of the time!

Hi, I'm Sally and I'm glad we're doing this -- I have a lot of trouble remembering who everyone is -- I'm about to make a cheat sheet and put it by my computer.

Anyway, my husband is Travis, an OB/GYN (and soon to be Major) in the Air Force. We live in Wichita Falls, Texas, a truly horrible place. We are originally from Indiana, but were in San Antonio for residency. I am a SAHM to three boys, aged 7, 4, and 16 months. My husband owes 2 1/2 more years to the Air Force, and then we are looking to head back to the midwest, hopefully to somewhere in Indiana. We have been married for almost 12 1/2 years. I was a middle school music teacher before our oldest was born, and have done many things to supplement our income in the years since then, but right now (if you don't count the mounds of laundry that I am avoiding by posting) I am a lady of leisure.

He is an HPSP student, 2nd LT in the USAF. He is planning on going into general surgery, and hopefully a fellowship in trauma. we hope to get a residency in San Antonio, TX for general surgery.
I am a student studying Early childhood, and I have one year until graduation. We do not have any children as of now, but hope to in coming years. Hi, my name is Amy and my husband, Marc, is doing an Ophthalmology residency, although he is only in his internship year (medicine) right now. We've been married for 3 1/2 year and we do not have any children yet. I'm an attorney, specializing in labor and employment law. We hope to be able move back to our home state once Marc is finished with his residency/ fellowship.

I'm very pleased that I found this site. After reading through many of the posts, I found myself saying -"I totally know/understand what she/ he is talking about". So, thanks.
