    Thanks - good to know! I was going to get one because it seemed like it might make it feel more like a regular book. But I also don't want bulky - that's part of the attraction to a Kindle for me! I'll check out the skins.

      That's what I kept thinking. I have a Sony Reader (love it!), and when I first got it I kept imagining the shelves of dh's medical texts all on something like that.

      I was in the "I don't know / too much computer reading / too expensive" camp, but now I'm firmly in the LOVE IT camp. I've read 5.5 books on it in just over a month. It's not like reading off of a computer screen. I know there is a name for the technology, but they've made it seem like a book page to your eyes.

      There are a few threads in the book forum about it.
