Does this number mean anything to anyone? My possessed dishwasher flashes *91* at me for no apparent reason (it's got a digital timer countdown thing-- it just starts to flash 91 when it's not on, not running, just there)...

And then yesterday it was flashing *91* at me, and so I told DH to look at it, and the minute he turned to look it stopped flashing. This is the 2nd time in a row when I caught it flashing, got DH to look, and it turns off the second he looks at it...

Weird.

Find the make/model of dishwasher and go to the maker's website. A lot of companies put their appliance manuals online now. The manual should tell you what "91" warns of.

Going to the online manual was how I figured out what some wacko message from my clothes washer meant...

Ohhh, so you think the *91* technically means something! Haha... I'll check it out... It's a Maytag that we are afraid to move because when it was installed it took 3 call-backs to the Maytag repair guy (you know the one, who sits around all day because he never gets a call because Maytag appliances don't break...) to get the thing leveled properly- it kept leaking water...



I have hated that dishwasher for 6 years now.

Personally, I think the dishwasher is trying to speak to you in code. It could mean that you have $91 to spend on a new outfit. Or maybe 91 days until you win the lottery. Or one of your kids will make a 91 on a big test. Whatever it is, it must be good. We don't get messages from our dishwashers that often, and they're usually pretty optimistic.
