  • So, remember

when in February, you all (a few noted exceptions) were freezing your arses off while I was planting my tomatoes?

So, this is when you get to feel better-

99 degrees (37.2 for those of you with Celsius) with humidity at 72% making the heat index 107 happy degrees.

Yes, you too can walk outside and feel the air stick to you. It's most definitely NOT a dry heat.

Enjoy your lovely late spring days!

Stop, stop!! You're making me homesick. I can just feel the perspiration collecting in my armpits and my hair frizzling into little kinky waves right now.

"Spring?" What is this "spring" you speak of?

Actually, it's only about 90 here, and of course, it IS a dry heat. :P I was even able to walk a little over a mile wearing the baby and herding the toddler...

We're enjoying a beautiful 70 degree weekend on a lake in northern MN.

I was at a bonfire last night. And we were all huddled around it like refugees.

We are unseasonably cool here too.

Yippee - the best part is we are expecting scattered thunderstorms on Tuesday when we are moving into our new place. Thank goodness we have movers to do the heavy lifting!

We are in the midst of "June gloom". I am loving it!! It even rained today
How long can we get away with it? I feel like any day now we'll get found out and punished with weeks on end of 100 degree days Yes, I fear summer.

Same here! I love 60-degree weather.
I'd be miserable in Texas. Hang in there, Jenn!

We're selling our air conditioner, and i'm a little worried that it'll sell too early and we'll suffer for a few nights without it!

Sorry to read about the your hot icky sticky days!

Like spotty said it is niiiice here. We are a good 10 degrees cooler than normal. 90s w/a breeze & little or no humidity is really tolerable, if not nice!

BTW Z just brought in several delicious Roma tomatoes from the garden! We just snacked on them, yummy!!
I love tomatoes that taste the way a tomatoes should taste!!

...and that smell like a tomato! I just picked our first early girl tomato and there are several more on the way. The grape tomatoes should be ready in a week or so. Yum!

It has been nice here, but gets a little hot between noon-3pm. I miss June Gloom!

The weather here in Colorado is NUTS. The civic tornado sirens have gone off four times since we moved here. There have been crazy thunderstorms pretty much every night, including a fair amount of hail. Not what I signed up for!

Julia, FWIW, I think it sounds worse than usual. Hopefully it will settle down into July!

Julia, our first year here was full of record setting weather...it was weird.
Hopefully things will settle down before the snow season returns

It has been a cool spring with lots of rain here in the midwest (especially on weekends)- I'd be loving some hot sweaty days right about now...
