    Resident dies in climbing accident

    I don't think anyone here is a SO to a NSG resident at Brigham & Womens in Boston, but if so, I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

    FYI: one of BWH's incoming NSG chief residents was killed in a mountain climbing accident over the weekend. From all accounts, he was a brilliant and beloved guy. Just truly terrible.

    Oh, how terrible. Was this the doc killed with the Minnesota doc? I'll have to see if DH knew him.

      Just told DH - he knew him, how sad. I guess when we saw it in the paper here, because the other doc was from MN, we didn't pay any attention to the other name. DH says he was a great guy and had two kids. So very sad.
