    Today was the 1st sun filled day in about a month! We took little E and went berry picking...got some strawberries and blueberries and I will try to make a blueberry pie this week. All in all a low key and fun weekend.

        The weather was crappy yesterday, the rain cleared in time for the fireworks but our pool party was postponed today - its a much better day for it.

        The fireworks were great, we watched them from the top of one of the employee parking ramps, it was the perfect place. Adele was mesmerized and zonked by the time we got home.
        Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

          Yesterday was our family reunion - it was a very nice party. At the end, there was a 15 minute fireworks display. The real stuff - I have seen municipalities with worse shows.

          (My great-uncle is LOADED - he owns at least 3 houses, a road construction company and 7 small banks, plus some other stuff thrown in there). Yet he was the son of immigrants.
