  • Calling all Dr. Phil Fans

Anyone here a Dr. Phil fan? Columbus Ohio has the largest fan base in the country of good ol Dr Phil and he is coming here as a stop on his "Get Real" Tour. He's either you love him or ya hate him kinda guy. I am suprised that people here like him so much as they seem to hate all things Texan here and act like we are all hicks. Anywho, I can't believe I paid what I did for 4th row seats. I look forward to it being "A changing day in my life", LOL> :!:

I love him. My favorite line is "How is that working for you?"

I'm a huge fan...I would LOVE to have a couple hours of his time for some private counseling for dh and me. I think that we could both use his kick in the butt style of counseling.

I would love to go see Dr. Phil live! My sister and her husband bought tickets to go see him last year and something came up so they couldn't go. She was really bummed out. Anyhow, I hope he comes to our town soon, though I'd have to trick my husband to get him to go to something like that!

Wow! I am a huge Dr.Phil fan. I must say that I am partial because I am a native Texan, too. After watching his style, it makes you look at people and their problems in a new light. Now, when people share things with me, I think to myself: "How would Dr. Phil respond or I wish I could send them on the show to get advice from Dr.Phil and he would let them have it"

Have fun and hopefully one day I will be able to see him, too.

It's funny - "D" Magazine (Dallas' magazine on par with "Boston Magazine" for Boston) ran an article about "Dr. Phil" this last summer in which they portrayed the guy as a supreme hypocrite or something. I don't remember much about the article except that D Magazine had quite a disdain for the guy. Other than that and the fact that he lives in Texas I don't know much about the guy or his show.
