  • Snow days!

I had a snow day from work last Friday. Sooo exciting! It's the second one we've had this year and it's snowing more today. I love it. I had to get up to go to a dr's appt anyhow, but the walk home was an adventure!

How's the weather for everyone? Any winter blues?

    winter blues

Winter...WHEN WILL IT END??? I'm definately not adjusted to this cold MN weather....It's not the snow..its' just the bitter cold that I can't tolerate..I'm such a wimp.

We're definately going through the winter doldrums...thank goodness the days are starting to get longer again though...hopefully things will start looking 'springy' soon. I've been mentally planning our garden now for the last two weeks I even bought some really beautiful butterflies made of glass beeds/metal to put in the garden.

It snowed in San Antonio Saturday!!!!!

My kids thought it was a real treat, even though it only accumulated on our trampoline. They were out there dragging every glove they could find (none of them matched!) and throwing snow balls at each other. It was not the nice powdery snow but ... Dallin had never even seen snow before so we were out there videoing and taking pictures.

Okay ... now I am ready for warmer weather! A couple days of real cold and I am ready to move on!!!

        Sharon,
I'm 45 minutes from you and I hate it!!!!! I had to be at work 7am on Friday. While shoveling the driveway I lost my keys in the snow!!! I had lost the other set last year. It took me almost an hour to find the valet key. I finally made it to work, and then paid $88 to have two keys made and programed for my car. What a pain in the $##$. Aaaaggghhhhh!!!!

          Luanne-

That's an awful start to your day! I'm sorry to hear it. Snow can definitely make travelling a mess. I had an 8 am dr's appt that morning and my doctor was an hour late because of the snow.

Hang in there...I have to think that spring's just around the corner! haha.

I love snow, but my office very rarely has snow days. I must say that it's very frustrating becuase all the schools and colleges (I work at a college) in my area, including my bf's med school have had three snow days, and we have had none. Argh. They only close school if all three campuses of the university will close, and the other two are in the city which means they rarely close for anything!
            Oh well...
