  • I ate Chinese Food... now my stomach hurts!

This is just sign number 937,304 why I need to start cooking now. I order from this Chinese place that is soooooo good while you're eating it.

Then you give it 20 minutes andddd.... Not so good!

I MUST start cooking... starting tomorrow!

There's this pre-packaged Chinese food called Simply Asia, the rice noodles one. I could only ever find it at CVS (yeah, the pharmacy). Absolutely loved it, but I had to stop eating it because my stomach would cramp the rest of the afternoon. Not sure what it is in it, but it doesn't sit well with me.

Maybe you could try a different restaurant? It could be MSG, maybe.

My vote is MSG - it ALWAYS made my poor brother miserable :/

Yah it is probably the MSG. We live in a really small town so there aren't that many options, and this is the one my kids like.

seriously... it's just another sign to start cooking more!! lol

I think I've seen Simply Asia at Target

I think Crest also carries Simply Asia, but (thankfully) not the flavor I love. I just know I would give in to temptation sometimes, regardless of the tummy ache...

Oh, sorry, it's a local supermarket chain around Oklahoma City. It's a great store - as cheap or cheaper than Wal-Mart with huge aisles and friendly, helpful employees. The inventory can be hit-or-miss, but I prefer to go there if I'm just going from groceries and household items.

Oh man, we have this sinfully good chinese place about 5 blocks from our house -- one plate will feed me for a week! We ordered it last night actually, and I've eaten 2 meals off of it already and still have over half left. They also have the world's most amazing coca-cola. Seriously, it's better than coke in a glass bottle (and that's hard to beat).

I think I've seen Simply Asia in Publix before. Might have to give that a try.
