It wasn't bad, except stupid Fox messed up the feed so we missed 1/3 of it.

It also really bothers me when they portray a wife to be a bitch and make extramarital relationships seem okay.

I think they are trying to compare the Rachel/Finn/Quinn love triangle with the Will/Terri/Emma love triangle. It doesn't translate well -- though I love Terri's warped perspective -- "I'm on my feet 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. I deserve _________ (a grand foyer, a craft room, etc.)"

I too enjoyed the episode, though I agree what they are doing with the wife is rather annoying to me. Maybe its supposed to annoy me, and thus the writers are doing a great job, but when she made that statement, (copying from MrsK here) "I'm on my feet 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. I deserve _________ (a grand foyer, a craft room, etc.)" I just wanted to strangle her. I guess the writing is good when you want to strangle a character.

MrsK, I agree about the triangle, but I'm hoping that his wife loosens up and that Emma teaches him how to be a good husband (i.e. no swapping, stealing, etc).

I think he knows how to be a good husband. But it appears to me that his wife is going to become increasingly self-centered and manipulative (Quinn too). Wonder how long these guys will take it. . .

Also, does it annoy anyone else that they keep saying that Rachel and Finn are the only glee kids with talent? The others are so good and I'd really like to see the rest get to shine. Maybe I'm over-thinking this but it bothers me that the two "stars" are the caucasian kids while the black, asian, disabled, and gay kids are relegated to back up roles as high school misfits.

Again, Mrs. K agree with you, I was watching last night thinking, WOW Artie (wheel chair character) is GOOD. They are ALL fantastic and should be given the credit they deserve. They for a split second did that in the pilot, giving each person credit for something they do well, except the Asian character. I think they need to develop the others characters more instead of focusing on the to main ones.

Just wanted to join in.. I love this show! I'm excited to have a scripted show to watch for once, instead of just reality shows. I think it's good! I love the conflict between the Glee Club teacher and the cheerleading squad teacher (forgive me - don't recall their names off the top of my head)

Glee started last night. Season Premieres for shows started this week. Some premiere anytime between now and early October. Ask me about a specific show and I can most likely tell you when it premieres. TV is my drug of choice.

Brandi, here's the Hulu link if you want to catch up on the 2 episodes you may have missed!

BTW I really enjoyed it! But then again, it would take a Hoosier to make something that takes place in Ohio look good!

Bwahahaha this an attempt to get a rise out of Cassy.

My mom told me last night that she had a hard time following the show -- *sigh* I wish that wasn't the case, because I love it.

I desperately want to like this show and am willing to give it a chance, but its over-the-top-ness is REALLY getting to me.
