You remind me so much of my college roommate. Your sense of humor is very similar to hers ( and she happens to be Canadian ). I adore her, and she is actually who DH and I named our daughter after. I felt like I needed to share that with you. I look forward to getting to know you better as you continue to post.

She is from ( and currently back home in ) Toronto. Would you believe that she came all the way to Alabama for college? Granted she came on an athletic scholarship.
I miss her terribly.

I wonder why Alabama? That is great though!
You should go and visit her wayyyyy up in Canada some time!

She tells me all the time how much she misses the warm weather. I keep telling her she was never here for a hot summer... she always went home. She assures me we have better weather in the south. I think she is nuts She is supposed to come down for a visit after the first of the year. YAY

I have never been to Alabama. Slowly but surely I am adding reasons to visit one State after the next... perhaps I should convince S to look for a hospital down there to interview at Yes... I know it's not that easy but I would love to visit!
