  • Music patent???

I'm not sure if this is a real topic, but is there a time limit on music and paying royalties? I'm starting to hear Cat Stevens songs on commercials, and I cannot believe he would have approved of them. It makes me want to cry.

Yes, there is, but it's looong. His family (or whatever enterprise owned the rights to his music) would have had to approve of the use. Remember, Michael Jackson owned most of the Beatles catalog (just for an example).
