  • Brrrrr.... It is cold outside

It is quite chilly outside.... We went to a STL Cardinal game and about froze our butts off. I am a summer girl so this is killing me. We had to turn the heat on to take the chill out of the air. 63 degrees is not what I consider an ideal indoor temp. Having the chimney inspected next week, so at least then we can build a fire and save on our gas bill. I guess fall/winter is coming, even if I don't want it to.

It was cold here a couple of days and then it warmed back up. I even got a sunburn yesterday since I wasn't expecting it to be so warm! I had planned out all these yummy warm recipes for this week and then had to change my whole meal plan now that its warm again. Chili and Turkey soup just are better when its cold. Im not complaining. It will be cold soon enough

We had hours of thunderstorms last night. We need the rain of course but it literally was shaking the entire house. Looked at my Facebook account today and two of the neighbors were posting at 3am because it was so loud and crazy.

Now it's that post rain humid, not cold not hot but perfectly uncomfortable temperature. Definitely too hot for long pants, shorts aren't quite right, ick.

Oh, hon...this is STL. It is not even nippy here yet! If you find this unbearable, just wait until early February. Which completely SUCKS here.

It's 68 degrees outside, and I am so happy that it's "crisp"
Wish I could actually say it's cold...

Last week's weather was PERFECT -- sunny, lows in mid 50's, highs in low 70's. I think we're finally free of the hot summer heat!! *knock on wood* (I hate Alabama summers). Of course now it's raining and it's supposed to continue all week :-p. I am soooooo sick of rain. I don't remember having these week-long bouts of the wet stuff in past years. Plus I tend to get a migraine when it rains, so I've gone through a bottle of meds that was intended to last me 6 months in less than 3.

It's getting chilly here too, which thrills me. Absolutely adore fall and all the wonderful things that come with it!

Come mid-January though, and I'll be singing a different tune.

oh FL. I miss the FL sun. I seriously went to college there just for the sun. (ok, not just that, but it was in the top five reasons I went)
