Oh, Ameins. You win over Fluff. Webkinz???
I want to go to a Ren Fest - but there isn't a good one nearby. How's that for lame? I need to chew on a giant turkey leg while watching a jousting competition....in costume. Yep. I dream big.
Oh...and I always enter the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes. I like to go through and find all those stickers for the *extra* 10,000 dollars and the *brand new car*!!Angie

hmmm... I don't think I have time to be addicted to any one thing...
Oh! I know - I haven't watched in a while, but I really enjoy the Disney Channel pre-teen shows (Suite Life, Hannah Montana, Jonas, That's So Raven, Wizards of Waverly Place, etc.). I have to note that it's specifically those shows on the Disney channel, not all pre-teen programming. One time I wanted the tv on while I was doing homework (silence makes me batty), and there was nothing worth having on on regular channels, and Disney had cartoons or something on. So, I turned on iCarly on Nickelodean.... horrible. Those kids (the characters) are such brats and poor role models for younger kids. If you want your kids to be snooty, have them watch Nick.
(Disclaimer: I have neither children nor any training in child behavioral sciences and thus can't offer conclusive evidence to back up my statement.)Back in the Midwest with my PGY-2 ortho DH and putting my fashion degree to good use.

I have developed a new addiction lately I have been trying to grow my hair out from the posh bob for 2 (yes 2!) long years.... I frequently change the color, but I couldn't get my stylist to quit trimming it in massive amounts. Last winter I bought some human hair clip in extensions and wore those around for quite a while. I loved having long hair, but with my short real hair you could sometimes see the clips if I didn't use enough hairspray!
Two weeks ago I watched a special on TV about some aspiring model who had really thin hair who wore wigs and they looked amazing on her! I then did some research online and discovered that Ken Paves for Jessica Simpson came out with a synthetic wig that you can wash, dry, flat iron straight or curl!! So in two weeks I have bought two at my local wig shop and have been wearing them daily! I bought a medium reddish brown and a light blonde that I bought today! I love them!! They look very real and make me feel so feminine! Here's the link if anyone is interested- although I got mine at a local wig shop so I could try them on and buy the necessary products to go with them.

I have to confess that I love iCarly.
But my lame addiction would have to be playing RocketMania on Yahoo Games. It is a sickness with me. Sometimes it gets so bad that when I go to bed and try to fall asleep, I see screens when I close my eyes.Wife of an OB/Gyn, mom to three boys, middle school choir teacher.
