Our hospital won't help cover the costs. They did reimburse for PALS though. But DH is having to ask his parents for a $2500 loan to cover all the costs so he'll be able to moonlight -- to pay them back. Most other residents have working spouses so they have some extra savings. We don't even have a credit card (other than Macy's).
