  • The Best thing Just Happened!

    The TV exploded!

Well, it was more of a fizzle. Rick was on the phone with his mother and it turned on by itself, turned off by itself and that was it! So, I was able to convince him that we didn't need to run off and buy a new TV three months before we're supposed to move.

Cable is now off, too and there is finally blessed silence in my home. And now if I can only get him to stop killing aliens on the computer...

(and to prove that I am the absolute worst wife, not only did I convince my husband that he doesn't need a new TV, I ordered myself a new car this weekend. A bright yellow MINI Cooper S. I figured if I have to have a car payment, I'd rather have one for a car I love as opposed to a car that is just a car.)

Congrats on the car and the TV. I have to admit I usually have the TV on when I am home, but the constant war coverage has me a little depressed and I am actually not turning it on.

What a fun car! Yellow too
Sounds like the TV decided it was done. Enjoy the silence.

Jenn- you all must not have been too attached to TV if you only have 1!!! Don't know how long we would last without Elmo...
