Are you happy with your job?

I am new to the forum. My name is Crystal. I am currently attending graduate school to get my PhD. I would have to say i am a 4.5 out of 5.

I love my research. I am looking at what genes might be invovolved in causing autism as well as dementia. I derive a lot of satisfaction out of it. ALso, its great to be super busy with projects of my own instead of waiting for the Dr. to come home and study up on his patients. I had a hard time with that before my program started, now its great because i usually need that time to study.

The reason it is 4.5 out of 5 is because right now I am taking an intense Neuroscience course and it is kicking my butt, but i'm doing well!

Your research sounds really interesting. My grandmother had Alzheimers with dementia, and it was so hard for her. I admire people like you who are working on ways to overcome it.
