The story of the Central Park Jogger last night on CBS? My husband and I were riveted to the screen as she told her story to Katie Couric. I honestly can't believe what she has been through and still has so much hope and optimism for humanity. In the interviews with her plastic surgeon, critical care surgeon, nurse, investigative detective, and her former coworkers, you could feel how intimately involved they became in her and how astounded they were by her recovery.

She has a book coming out in April and I might just pick it up. Talk about a tribute to the unbelievable capabilities of the human spirit.

Yes, I saw it...it was on NBC actually. I grew up in New York City and remember this story from years ago. It's amazing that she finally "came out" and is doing so well. I hope she never remembers the horrific events of that night.
