  • I just realized

that TODAY we receive our last student loan deposit... this means that we will no longer be ACCUMULATING student debt! So excited that the principal amount will no longer be increasing! Wooooooooooo hoooo!

(Not looking forward to paying off those loans, and the rediculous amount of interest, but just glad to be done acquiring them)

                Congrats,

Now for a bit of unsolicited advice : If you can pay some interest payments in trainign, it behooves you to do so. I know that it is tough, but makes all the difference in the world on the other side. We paid a small chunk off in training and tried to be relatively reasonable with finances and I can tell you that the streets are still not paved in gold.

We plan to defer but pay interest whenever we can. Entering repayment just won't be possible, but making interest payments when we can will be nice because they won't be required.

smart girl. I can't imagine our debt if we hadn't done this.

Congratulations! I'm not looking forward to all the new student loan debt we will be taking on starting this year. We both still have undergrad loans too, ugh. At least Texas schools aren't that bad. Can't wait to be where you are right now.
